Corydon, IN October 28 & 29, 2011
This Halloween will see the 4th annual Cream of the Crop Kiko Sale held in southern Indiana in conjunction with the Corn Country Commercial Goat Conference. The conference will be sponsored by National Kiko Registry and by Harrison County Purdue Extension. The Harrison County Fairgrounds could be a Norman Rockwell painting come to life, and if you have kids or grandkids, bring them along for the Halloween doings on the village square.
This year's edition of the sale will offer over 100 Kikos consigned by 10 of the top breeders in the industry. All goats offered will be NKR registered and all purebreds and 100% New Zealand goats will beDNA tested. This is a no reserve auction! If you are not able to attend, your phone-in bids will be accepted and we will be happy to try to help you arrange for transport to a location near you. Credit card payment is also acceptable.
The Corn Country Commercial Goat Conference features some of the top small ruminant professionals in the country, as well as a panel discussion with a group of experienced goat breeders. The conference is open to all who are interested in meat goats and there is no registration fee. As a transition from the conference to the sale, the conference sponsors and sale consignors will be serving a complementary goat meat lunch of Cabrito Verde!
A block of discounted rooms has been reserved at the Corydon Hampton Inn. To make your reservations call 812-738-6688 and mention the goat conference.
